| 2000 328i ANY KNOWLEDGEABLE OWNERS HERE??? Does a 2000 328i have a fan clutch to keep it cool or a mechanical fan that runs with the pully system??? Or does it just have an electric fan? Last edited by Paycheck713 : 06-02-2008 at 04:19 PM.      |

| All of the above are correct. It originally had a belt-driven fan with a heat-actuated fan clutch, and an electric fan in front of the radiator. Someone may have done a fan-delete modification on it, leaving only the electric fan. |

| e46 cooling system I have 'attached' some small .jpg files to this message. This is what a totally stock e46 should look like. In the close up from the driver side, the silver fins you see are the fan clutch. |

| Yea dude, thats pretty clear to see, but its not on mine, I dont know if the guy who owned it removed it or what, but I am going to drop it off at the dealer sometime this week, Thanks |
