what kind of e46??

so i might sell my e36 325is and upgrade to a e46.. idk what kind to get.. i really like the 330's, but the M3's are just so sick.. but a lil to $$$. help me out guys.. what should i get?

If money is not so much of a problem go for the M3. Otherwise I would recommend the E46 330 ZHP. Pretty much the same performance of an E36 M3 just newer.

i was in the same boat as you, i really wanted an m3 but too much $$$ so i went for the zhp...very happy with it so far!

its the 330i with the performance package (m tuned suspension, more agressive cams, i think the exhaust is a little more "free flowing", 18 inch m wheels) 10 more hp and 8 more lb ft of torque and tighter handling. you can google "330 performance package"

They are really nice looking cars and I would almost argue that their interiors are nicer than the E46 M3.

my freind has 330i zhp and is very happy with it doesnt zhp come with the M3 exhaust? i know 330 zhp has 20 more horse power than the regular 330

330s are very nice...and AA makes alot of great upgrades for them...you can get them just as fast as an m3 if not faster...however it will wind up costing you the same in the long run in some ways...but having a 330 pulling m3 and better times and performance...that you tuned yourself...much better to me

Don't know about a 330 pulling on a M3 short of having F/I but they are great cars.

thats why i mentioned AA...throw a supercharger on a 330ci along with a few other things and you can outpace a m3...however...do the same upgrades to a m3 and your toast lol

I'm going to be weird, i love the shit out of my e46 323... It gets up and goes reasonably well. It is definetly not going to set the world on fire in regards to acceleration or power that much we all know. I just changed the springs and shocks to stock e46 m3 components .. and the car handles amazingly well, while running OEM wheels and conti rubber.

But if i had to do it again and i was in your shoes.. i would probably go with an 330zhp.

I preffer 2 door, they're more sleek and seem to look newer then their 4 door companions...
