but a 330i isn't bad at all either.
right now i drive an e46 325i.
i'll be looking at an m3 come time for me to get a new car.

I too was in the same situation. I wanted an M3 so bad, I could taste it, however when it came down to the $$, I settled on a 323ci (since it is for my GF). Settling is B**CH!!!

if you dont mind four door go for the bmw 318i e46 sports steptronic:
top lookin car, nice interior, good features for an 04/05 model and great all purpose car.
