Engine Management light has come on and diagnostic computer telling me check fuel supply and purge soleniod valve I know that the computer will tell you a problem but not always the one in question

NikG, could your gas cap be loose? If the cap is loose you can get a warning related to the evaporative fuel purge.

Thanks for the advice iI will go and investigate probaly best not to do it during smoke break
