BMW 330ci Sat Nav Hi! I take receipt of my new e46 330ci m clubsport today i'm so excited! I need your guys help, i remember seeing on this forum a "how to do" thread on overriding the system so that you can watch tv while you are driving aswell. Although i cannot find it anywhere now! Any chance anyone can help me out??? i'll make sure to post pics soon as i get it!

Some have altered their NAV to play DVDs. I suppose you could feed a TV signal into the system, though I have never seen it tried. I urge you to reconsider this modification. There are lots of safer things you can do to enhance your driving experience.

after thinking about it, i come to the realization that it would be pointless to have your tv on while your driving.... If i had it on while i was driving and something came on of curiosity it would be a huge distraction... no need for it... i want to know now how to get my phone working in the car, its got all the buttons for it but i dont know where to connect it up... does anyone know what i need??

If you can't ignore TV while you are driving...well, perhaps one should consider not driveing with a girlfriend or wife because they can be much much more distracting than TV.

| OP, I know there is some info about this on e46fanatics, as the forum is for a specific model ![]() There is a module you can buy that bypasses whatever it is in the system that stop you from watching while on the move... I think this is the box...

Watching video while driving isn't as distracting as you would think. I'm sure I can safely watch seasons of sopranos while driving down the highway safer than most teenage girls can drive with their full attention devoted. I've driven from the panhandle of florida to central wisconsin while watching old LOST episodes... boring drive through Illinois... Never had a speeding ticket, accident, close call, nothing. I think ive driven 100k miles in my life so far, which is decent for a 21 year old, but I do a LOT of town driving delivering pizza!
