Definatly the EVO. Although Roughedges S4 is very nice I think that the aftermarket stuff for the EVO will be awesome. The power will probably be similar to the WRX so I think that it comes down to looks. Those bug eyes aren't really too appealing however the aftermarket ones are nice.

Actually the Evo should romp all over the WRX. It's main competition is the STi if it does come over.

Exactly. The EVO is not a rival to the WRX, but rather the STi. And neither of those should compete with the Audi or BMW. Those 2 are luxury sporty-sedans.

The Mitsu and Subie are rally cars for the road. Ride comfort and interior furnishings are not their main focus. AWD handling and turbocharged power are.

My personal preference (which I'm sure few of you share) is the Subaru.

330ci! Maybe EVO we will have to see when it comes over, I'm curious to see if they are going to keep the price down.

Subie all the way if you are looking for that kind of car; Subaru and Porsche are very close, Mitsubishi in my opinion doesnt make quality cars.

330Ci. I wouldn't touch the others with a ten foot pole.

am i in the right forum? i gotta go with the 330ci. I wouldnt even consider the other choices. I'm kind of a rwd purist and a native californian so so awd cars dont do it for me as much as a bimmer does. plus all those cars compared to the 330 have such poor resale value (well maybe mitsu's arent AS bad) , dont you guys consider that when buying a new car?

actually there are a few for sale in the auto buys and they are at or above sticker price. old subies are also not that cheap but i see your point when comparing it to a bmw resale

Evo or wait for WRX STi. Those cars are just plain sweet. AWD and can make major hp for cheap, that does it for me. My next choice would be the S4 then last the 330. Now if it was a M3 instead of 330, the M would be it no doubt, but the 330s just don't have the appeal to me the others do.

No offense or anything but if you look at the resale values of E36 M3s they aren't that great...

I have had the chance to ride in both a japanese model WRX Sti and a japanese model EVO 7 and let me tell you the EVO walks all over the WRX. It accelerates harder and corners so much harder and faster. Not to mention the engine sounds so much better and the interior is alot nicer. It also has a really trick diff that has 3 different settings(tarmac, graval, and something else). I also think the EVO looks alot better. My vote goes to the EVO 7 or the 330ci.
