M coupe VS 330 what result will it be?

I have a 99 M coupe. It is a stick of cuz.

Say if i want to race with a 330ci stick, what would the result be?

Lets not put driver skill in there.

Say both driver are about the same.

I just want to know which car is faster?

my engine is the one with the 240hp.

330: 0-60: 6,7sec 0-100: 16,7sec qm:15,1sek:98mph
M3: 0-60: 5,5sec 0-100: 13,1 qm:13,9sek

Against a 330? Don't waste your clutch..Start nice and hammer it unless you want to totally destroy him...
Your 0-60 is ~5.3...Do the math...Don't sweat it..

Are you kidding??? You must have needed a little re-affirmation in having a bunch of people tell you what you already know!! Your M Coupe would leave a 330 with much ease.

I think it stands for More than the usual amount of power. 330's would give you a run for the money....but come on now. What do you think?

You may not want to ruin your clutch while racing a 330, but if you ever come across more promising pray, you may find this useful.

I found that the best rpm to launch an M coupe is about 2600rpm. This may seem a little high, but the rear suspension allows it to hook up pretty well. Just don't rev it much higher than that, or you'll sit there spinning your tires.

Make sure ASC is off, AC is off, rev to 2600, and just drop the clutch. You'll get wheelspin for just under a second, then shoof off like a bat out of hell. Have fun!

Hi guys, thx for the replies.

I was reading other kill story posts that some of the other said they were able to catch up if not kill the E36 M3.

And since the E36 M3 have the same engine as i do, only a little heavilier, i thought it might be side by side or with me too.

Just never raced a 330 b4.

But i have smoked CL type S by a lot and also some Mustang. Thats it.
