e46 Hood buckeling after replacing of hood shocks

Well about the carbon fiber hood replacement, when i tried to shut the hood of my new carbon fiber one there was no way, it would have snaped in half if i tried to close it. I started to hear that snapping glass sound just bending it a little. I had to disconnect the shocks and switch over to the old "metal rod" syle.

I think get the OEM bmw shocks, sometimes the replacement hoods are NOT as good of quality as the origonals.
