2002 330i in-dashCD replacement to an AFTERMARKET

i'm going to buy a 2002 330i soon.
SO i was wondering if Anybody who owns 330i year 2001 or 2002 with HK package that had replaced their IN-DASH CD player with an AFTERMARKET CD-MP3 players like kenwood Z828 or SONY's MP450X, etc??

Any pros and cons, how much did u spend total (deck unit, custom bracket)?
did you loose the streering wheel control, what cna u do to still use the streering wheel control with your aftermarket cd-mp3 player??
