I have a 2002 BMW 325CI convertable and all four windows rattle or squeek when the top is up and the windows are all fully up. The noise appears to be coming from a combination of the panels and windows. If I lower the windows slightly (about 1/16 of an inch) the noise goes away. The noise is very loud when traveling over a rough road. The car has about 30,000 miles on it and has been a great car up to this point. The noise started one day about 2 months ago when I lowered the top. Anyone have this same problem and have a fix? The BMW dealer cannot fix the problem, however said some models have a special dealer supplied coated window to stop squeeks.
