| Questions about a 323ci I want to lower. Hi all, New guy here so bear with me. I have a bmw 323ci and I just purchased a set of 4 M3 evolution wheels (19x8, 235-35-19 tires) and I want to lower the car slightly. Maybe an inch or might shoot for 1.5. My three questions are: -How far can I lower my car without Fu**ing it up? -If I lower my car does the camber have to be adjusted? -If the camber must be adjusted how would I go about doing that and what do I need? (If anyone has any suggestions on a good set of lowering springs let me know.) |

| Oh yeah and I intend on eventually buying the M3 fenders and M3 mirrors aftermarket but I dont know what a GOOD paint job costs. I dont know if color match is the way to go or full body? I was hoping to get factory quality and hopefully not pay more than 1k. So if you know anything about auto paint that would be nice too. |

| Well if you are goin to get new fenders hold off on the lowering. Generally they can color match really well, depends on your paint job. You should be fine. Put some pics up and I can tell you a lil more.

| Thanks man, Yeah that answers a couple of questions. I will take some pictures over the weekend. But about the camber anyone know about that?

So I have began to slowly buy and convert a 3 series coupe to my M-powered dream. Along my way I will be broke and asking a hell of a lot of questions. In the end I will have what I want, or I will ultimately hit the lottery and just buy one. |

| of course with a drop your camber will become more negative, which means your wheels will sort of flare out...BUT IT WONT BE BAD with a normal spring setup...that is if you just buy springs. If you go lower, like myself youre tires flare out pretty damn well and wear is uneven but i dont mind cuz ive got sways and the corners are a joy to take! as for paint....id imagine with fenders and paint youre looking at easily over 1k, and i assume that paint alone for fenders will easily run you 500+, just for the front, or just for the rears
