| Donuts with a 323is Great news, my mom's out of town so i get to drive her 98 323is, the best part is it's stick... ok, i think i found the traction control switch, it's the "ASC" button right? are there any precautions i should take when turing traction control off if that's what the button does? Also, i'm no stunt driver or whatever so i really don't know how to do a donut, i'm under the impression just turn the wheel all the way, put it in first, floor it, and drop the clutch... if i'm wrong or if anyone else has a better way please let me know... also could someone tell me how i'm to regain control of the car should i need to quickly. (i've been told slamming on brakes will do me no good... something about turn with the spin and pump brakes lightly). Well i hope to have fun with the car. Also, will attempting these donuts with the traction control off damage anything? I'm sure i'll burn out the tires a bit, maybe a little something tot he transmission but besides that is there anything i should be aware of? i'm going to have my friend tape it with his digi-cam so i'll put a vid up when i can... |
