| New hood Will a factory M3 e46 hood fit a 2002 330ci E46? My hood got damaged from a truck losing a peice of metal on the freeway, and it gashed my hood and cracked my windshield. I got the plate and number of the truck and they're going to pay to fix or replace it. Also who makes a front lip add on for the m-technic bumper. I'm looking for something similiar to those made for the e46 M3. Thanks for the help!

| I was going to buy the carbon fiber cause my car is black and it would look really good but it's almost twice as much as the factory e46 M3 hood even after factoring in for paint.

| It will fit I have one on my car now. But it is not a straightforward bolt the panel shop will need to space up the guards and things. Any panel shop should be able to do it. There is a lot of information on E46FANATICS about this situation. Hope it helps. You will also need new struts as the M3 hood is heaps lighter than your standard hood. |

| I bought the e46 M3 hood hinges and shocks. What guards need to be spaced? Thanks for the help.

| The 2 front guards. As advised the M3 bonnet does not bolt straight on. The panel shop uses guard spaces I believe they are called they look like washers. |

| Do you mean for the core support, or to space the hood catches ( the pins with springs around them ) from the hood?

| No I mean the actual 2 front quater panels the panels with the wheel arches in them. they need to be manouvered a little so that everything meets up. The M3 front quarter panels appeAr to be a different size to the standard coupes in regards to this |
