| ~~ REALLY NEEDS HELP!! 2002 bmw m3 6sp Sup, I took my car to get it service last week and i ask the guy that was helping me about my tranny.The problem is that whenever i shift gear, you can hear it shifting and the car kinda shake a little.I left the car there for a day and went back the next day and he said that its normal.Please help..also sometime its hard to get in gear. Thanks |

| that is completely normal. i have the same car, same year and it does it too. as does every other e46. it's known as the "driveline clunk" and spooks you when you first drive the car until you realize it's just natural. |

| Oh haha, a little clunk yea, WOW i wasnt even thinking, when I shift there is a little clunk, but I dont even notice it anymore. And yea a few donuts and redlining it shouldnt make it clunk. Sounds normal bro.

| its prob normal while the car is under warranty, but as soons as its off it prob needs to be replaces right away...
