HELP: Looking for the least expensive way to get a Carbon Black 2001 330i rear bumper

Ok, here’s the story. I was driving my sisters jeep in traffic, got distracted for a spit second, my lane stopped, BaM!, I hit a 2001 Carbon Black 330i BMW. Wow just my luck.. Anyways, I was going real slow and it just messed up the bumper a bit (a few indentations). The bumper will most likely have to be replaced.

-What’s the best price on a new E46 330i rear bumper?

-Are there reconditioned bumpers I could find?

-Are all E46 3 series bumpers the same?

-What price should I be looking at for painting this bumper?

Note: The reason I want to find the best deal is because this is going to come out of my pocket. I don’t want to half-ass anything on a BMW. I just want to get it fixed at a realistic price. No way in hell am I going to loose my good driver discount from my insurance co.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Anyways, the cheapest way would probably be to buy one off someone local that is modifying his/her bumper, but it doesn't seem like you have the time to wait on one. www.pacificbmw.com would be your best bet/price for a new OEM bumper. Coupe and Sedan Bumpers are different, but they also vary by model year. It wouldn't hurt to browse around the for sale/classifieds sections of a few BMW forums, before you decide to order. I hope all goes well.
