Faulty erratic air-conditioning

Hi Guys,

My cars are con has gone crazy. When you have it on Auto it blows ultra fast then slows right down for a bit then speeds up to full. Then when you switch it to manual then is only fast air, even if you have it on 1 bar it is on full blast, so its basically off or on full blast.

Anyone else had problems with there aircon, or suggestions how to fix it

i have same problem...had it for months now...dont wanna spend big bix at the dealership to fix i'd like to hear a solution too

It's probably just a faulty resistor. I had that fixed in my jeep and it was under $100 I think.

hmm, maybe its a bad final stage resister dawhopthingie? I haven't experienced it, but with my car aging so damn fast, I fear it'll go out soon. Retails for 100'ish and is located behind the bundle of wires behind the glove box.
