| Here's some engine info: 320i/320Ci The new BMW 320i sedan and 320Ci coupe add a third six-cylinder tier to the BMW 3 Series model range. Aggressively priced from $60,500 and $63,500 respectively with five-speed manual transmission, they represent the most potent argument to date for BMW six cylinder motoring. The new M54 2.2 litre power plant common to both models delivers the same 125kW of power as the superseded 2.5 litre M52 engine of the outgoing 323i and 323Ci, with acceleration from 0-100km/h taking just 8.6 seconds. More significantly, the M54 engine delivers up to 85 per cent of its 210Nm torque from as low as 1500rpm, resulting in exceptional overtaking ability and effortless point to point performance. Both new models feature BMW's traditionally very high levels of standard luxury equipment. Standard 320i specification includes Montana full leather upholstery, BMW's Multi-function steering wheel, on-board computer, a CD player, climate control air conditioning, 16 inch star-spoke alloy wheels with 225/50 low profile tyres and front fog lamps. The 320Ci also features all of the above specification, plus through loading facilitated by the folding rear seats. A class-leading eight individual airbags, seat belt tensioners, ABS Anti-Lock Brakes, ASC + T stability and traction control and BMW's Safety Battery Clamp, which isolates the vehicle's electricity supply in an accident are amongst the standard safety features on both models, whilst the 320i also gains a third three point rear seatbelt and headrest. The 320i and 320Ci make the BMW 6 cylinder offer hard to compete against with powerful, fully equipped new models at excellent value levels. The 320Ci in particular is sure to appeal to the many who enthusiastically embraced the previous E36 318is coupe and made it such a market success. Sounds like a BMW Individual spec'd vehicle... must see pictures. ![]()

| Yea it felt like an individual one.....But damn the engine!! I know, it's a HUGE downgrade. I get bored too fast with looks and luxury stuff, so if the heart isn't a potent one i'll end up humiliating it....I know!! |
