my goal is to mount my radar near the rear-view mirror which is the easy part, but how do i put the mute button and that alert light (which is on cigg adapter) somewhere near the ashtray... or maybe near the traction button

haha exactly what im trying to do... DIY? i think i got most of it down though, jsut need to learn exactly how to get that switch where u have it

yup DIY...i hAve no instructions
basically i fished the sub indicator down to the center counsol...take apart the center counsol...that blank where the mute button is will pop out if u push from behind. drill a hole in it to fit the mute button and leds. shave down the backside of the blank. glue the sub indicator face to the blank (very tedious). (the sticker face plate coomes off and attach it to the front of the blank

put it all together ...voila! clean install

man what kind of glue did you use? lol... hot glue failed me twice

lok-tite super glue...let it cure over nite...and be gentle onlt the button needs to move not the entire piece
