Acceleration failure?need help 2000 328i

So I take my car in for a tune up and everything seems fine for about a day. I am driving and then i come to a stop light and when i go to accelerate the car bogs and then i give it some more gas and nothing! then all of a sudden a burst of gas then nothing again, then it seems ok. Then i am driving and then it keeps completely cutting out and then some throttle response. I just had the injectors cleaned and new plugs and a new fuel filter put in. what could this be?

Sounds like a Mass Airflow Meter

I don't think the MAF would cause that, more like gremlin would be the fuel pump.

thanks this sounds like what was happening with my car. I have fixed the problem. It was my fuel pump. it was messed up. So the dealer fixed it for free. wasnt under warrenty but i just got the car from them like 4 months ago. Had a few other problems so they helped me out.
