dash cluster problem Ok, so I get in the car to go to work today and hit the turn signal, no blink. I turn the headlights on, and they still work, signals do too, only problem is the dash cluster turn signal doesnt light up, nor does the fog lights symbol. The cluster itself still lights up, but I'm thinking I have a fuse blown. Apparently Carmax forgot to give me an owners manual and I cant find the fusebox diagram anywhere online. Anyone know offhand which fuse would handle the cluster signals? Kthnx =)

ok, update. dash cluster is bad according to the bmw tech. also, 2 ac lines are leaking, which explains the air conditioning being kinda questionable. carmax is footing this bill to the tune of roughly 1600 dollars. glad i paid the 1500 for the extended warranty. =D on a sad note, my cars MIA til wed, and im kinda sad about it. grand am rentals make me want to cry.

If you have a burnt out bulb do you have to replace the whole cluster? can't you just replace the bulb it self? I have the same problem with my wifes 323i, but when it got shorted out, my radio stopped working in the process and i smelled burnt rubber or plastic and saw smoke coming out of the cluster. Freakin eh i hate how the electronical craps out on you. I really dont want to be paying 1600 hundred myself. Does anyone know where i can find another gauge cluster and for how much?
