| e46 Software Checking? For Shark Injector... I just got my shark injector and it came with a warning paper saying that i must have my software up to date with BMW before i install the shark injector or it will give an error and not work at all. Ill have to send back the SI and it willl be reprogramed. SO i havent installed it yet, but im dieing to!  Does anyone know how to check the software version on a e46 99 328i? Thanks

| You should bring it to the dealer and have them check to see if your E46 has the lastest program installed. I went through the same process and found out that I'm running a very old program so they had to upgrade it to new one which cost me about $100.00  but on the brighter side after the upgrade program my rough idle during cold weather went away  .
