New Custom Cold Air Intake.. Water Fears?

You should be fine with the placement there, as you know tons of cold air intakes go down that far on cars, and I have never heard of a story where its takes in water unless the car has been submerged.

the dinan CAI i had was fine for me. I had the sock/mesh cover thing and it was good enough to repel rain and so forth. No problems myself, just don't go driving through a lake or something though, that i have doubts about.
