Einhaus Masterkraft Exhaust ???

I just picked up my 02 M3 Cab and it has the Eisenhaus Masterkraft DTM exhaust. It is just the muffler. It sounds a little bit tinny on the high end. Does anyone have this? If so what are your thoughts? Is it louder than stock? I am not sure if I like it. Does the performance outweight how loud it is?

Generally ANY car that has an aftermarket muffler on it will be louder than stock. As far as performance goes, you won't be making very many hp's with just a muffler. My suggestion is that if you don't like the sound, put a factory muffler on it or get another muffler/system from a different company. Search around for sound clips before you buy something.

All U.S. spec M3's sound "tinny", according from everyone who has posted about this. It's because the cats are located in the headers and not down under the car.

Check out www.uucmotorwerks.com and their RaspX exhaust system, or try to locate a euro exhaust system to get rid of the "tinny" sound.
