Intake problems

I installed my short ram intake last night. It was great but then i got inot it and it jerked and shot up a cel and a picture of a gear next to the D under the tack. I have an automatic so when it shifted i lunged forward in every gear. that happened once before and bmw put a new transmission in. I pulled the negative on the battery and the symbol next to the D went away but the cel didn't. It shifted fine after that.

Ok my question. Do you think it was my intake that did that or i should take it in because there are other problems.

Sounds like a tranmission problem, you might want to get the tranny rechecked.

i dont think more air flowing thru your engine would cause that light to go on.
