Which 6 cylinder e46 is the best of range

I am about to buy e46 coupe, i think i will go on 325 but i want to know if 323 and 328 also good,they are cheaper but they are just 99' model what are the diference. and what do you think of 330

The difference is.... when the E46 facelift came in during 2002, the 323 and 328 models were phased out. They were taken over by 325s and 330s.

reviews say that of all the 3 series engine's and for that fact cars, the 330 is the best. the smothest, still with a bit of "omph", and the best to drive (performance and luxury wise). everyone says that it is the best balanced.

if i'm not mistaken the 330 has 225hp, 325 has 184hp, and the 323 has 170hp.

Wrong 323 and 328 were offered in 99-00. In 2001 models of the 325 and 330 variety were offered and haven't changed since in respect to the engines. Facelifting has nothing to due with and didn't even occur in the model years you listed. Facelifting began in 2004 with the same model lineup of 325 and 330 and is purely cosmetic.

The 3.0L is the better engine out of the two. Maybe that's why it costs more?

Tom, nice "new" ride, sell me those LTW rims damnit, why is it you always have the parts I'm looking for? Anyway if ever down the line you want to sell those wheels, I call dibs now.
