| New dinan intake questions. I just installed the Dinan Intake and i dont actually see how this location is the best spot for cold air at all. It looks trapped behind the bumper. My main concern is water ingestion, i read that in order to put it on i needed to cut a piece of of the brake duct. great now i have a water duct also. Any comments on water ingestion? should i be able to see the cai from the bumper, i dont know if i cut too much of the duct away. |

| i can see mine from the front if i take off a piece of my bumper. get a weather sock for your intake and you wont have any problems. i've had mine for a year now and never had a problem with water.

| The oil on the filter combined with a sock will keep water out. You would have to drive through some deep water to made the engine digest it. Get a sock and keep the filter good and clean and you will have no worries.
