e46 2001 vs. 2003 Tail Lights

Hey guys,

I'm selling a set of tail lights on eBay for 2001 e46 sedan... I keep getting all these questions from people asking if these lights will fit on a 2003+ model (facelifted) sedan.

In looking at pictures of the 2003/4, and looking at the 2001 tail lights... they look like they'll fit... but I'm not 100% sure.

Has anyone done this kind of tail light swap to know if they'll fit?

LOL... I figured it all out.

The tail light assembly itself would fit perfectly into the car... however, the light bulb housing that meets the tail light in the back would NOT line up correctly with the holes. The 2003 tail lights have the turn signals in the middle of the light, whereas the 2001 lights have the signals at the very top.
