E46 330ci problems On my 03 330ci i have a couple problems i was wondering you guys may have the remedy to. 1st: The accelerator pedal feels disconnected to the engine. I dont mean this literally but it gives that feeling. I know its throttle by wire but if you press the pedal, theres a short lag time before then engine responds and when it does it accelerates hard. Its almost impossible to accelerate smoothly in the car without getting jerked back. Its hard to explain but someone may understand what im saying. Oh, and last week i drove a 325i for a day as a loaner car and it had no signs of this type of problem. The next two arent serious, but they bother a little..... 2nd: Speaker rattles on front right. 3rd: Windows squeak when opening/closing. Any helps is appreciated, Thanks!

the pedal is just a characteristic of the Drive by wire system. getting an after software will help to remedy that situation. the speaker rattle and window squeak can be fixed under warranty, just take it into the dealer

A lil ot on the speaker rattle, I think the past owner of my 328ci had broken the small clip that holds the panel to the door onthe driver side? isthat warranty or not?

we had the same problem #1 in our 330i. all 3 of us couldnt drive the car smoothly. After a month we all got used to it. You jump back into a non DBW accelerator system car and it will be the same problem in vice verca

Prob #3: Ask your dealer's parts department for some gummi fledge (8 dollars + tax). It's a rubber lubricant. It comes with an applicator built into the tube, and just put some along the rubber seals of the door, well not on the door, but where the glass touches the car when it's closed. It *should* solve your squeek problem.

Forgot to mention its on a Auto 330ci. Thanks for the other suggestions. Do you think the dealer could do anything about the acc. pedal? Or would they not know what im talking about like always?
