short shift throw ratio?

Can anyone tell me a good short shifter to get for a '02 330ci. I was thinking about the b&m, but is 25% throw reduction enough to really notice. I am definitely tired of my sloppy stock throw. What is a really noticeable throw reduction ratio? Worth paying for? anyone?

Well because this guy is my cousin and he has done some extinsive mods on his e46. I would like to see his bangin whip.

The best short shifter that I have seen and experienced is the UUC Ultimate Short Shifter, and combined with a weighted knob (doesnt matter which one) is one of the best shifters I have ever felt. Quality is suberb. I have also heard good things about the B&M, but on a Supra TT and an RX7.
