Extended Warranty

Fellas Ladies if there are any, i have a question about warranties, i have a 328 Ci, warranty just expired, before warranty expired i got a letter from warranty company, i called them up and i was quoted $2500 for extended warranty. which i thought was crazy.

Has anyone purchased an extended warranty and if u have when u had to use it, was there any problem with them covering charges?? Also send info on company.
