tranny or engine noise

I have an automatic 330xi and when i put the car in drive and hold down the brakes, like at a light, i hear this loud rumble/ vibrations from under the hood somewhere. What can it be?

Could be absolutely anything. No way to figure it out by mere description. Bring it to your dealer and have it checked out.

tom the dealer said that there are 2 " balls of air" that the engine sits on and one deflated a little and they are ordering the part for me and they found that click when i turn-- its a joint in the steering that has to be replaced

Engine mounts and a control arm bushing. Weird one of your engine mounts went bad. But the control arm bushing is a known problem.

is there any way that the intake caused somethin to go wrong with the mount? like overreving or something

No way in hell. Is that what your dealer is trying to say to you? I certainly hope not. They can get into a LOT of trouble by misleading you.

no no no, i took out my intake before i went but i was just hesitant to put it back in... but not anymore thanks man
