Where can I buy 2-into-1 exhaust pipe? Or a cheap 1st resonator bypass for an e46?

Im not paying to buy supersprint pipes to bypass my first resonator (I've been hearing its a cat lately, though...) I just need 2-into-1 pipe so I can weld it myself.... HELP

Any local muffler shop should be able to supply you with what you need.

And the first resonator (closest to the engine) is not a catalytic converter.

Thats what I thought... but every muffler shop I've brought my car to has tried to convince me its a cat

So convince them it's not. Show them the two catalytic converters located directly after the headers off the engine.

Then proceed to ask them to give you a discount on the part due to their lack of knowledge.

I did that and they try to convince me they are "pre-cats" so I gave up...

They are the GHEY. You might want to contact ESP and ask him about some places that could do the work for you down in FLA.

Yeah tru... I found one place but he wants like 300 bucks

I almost punched him.
