M3 Gtr Engine

I know the M3 GTR uses a v8 4l engine, aluminium with dry sump..... But is this engine found in any other BMW? How does it compare with a normal M3 motor in terms of driveability (obviosuly more powergul and less economic)?

The engine is in no other car, except for the few GTR Streetcars that were produced. It shares no designs with any other V8. It is essentially brand new racing engine.

The engine is specific to the GTR ONLY , It is a sealed engine from BMW Motorsport none of the teams were allowed to open the engines and the engines were only leased to the teams that BMW Motorsport supported.
