| ECIS E46 Intake? Any advice. Hi Guys, Considering replacing my ben fer intake with an ECIS unit. Does anyone have any input about the ECIS piece? Does my Xenon lights or any mounts need to be relocated? Is the ECIS better than the Ben Fer unit? Shawn

| I have yet to come across any aftermarket intake system that doesn't have that hissing sound. It's a result of the filter being exposed. I have the ECIS system and can't complain one bit about it. Fit is superb and love the custom colour shield.

| partly, but there is so much more cfm (air) now, the change in throttle body (style, size, posistioning) on the E46 (vs. E36) has changed sound characteristics.
