How to change to scissor doors?

Anyone know how much work and what is involved in a scissor door mod to the E46? Appreciate any info!

avoid the need to rice out your car; I have seen this coversion up close, and needless to say the work isnt fitting for a BMW.

You've heard it here folks. RichP says "NO RICE" so please mod accordingly

Anyways man, Do what you think is cool. Don't be discouraged by someone else's comments. Check www.autoloc.com and www.decah.net They both have conversions out there that can be modified to fit BMW's. It is pricy tho.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I never knew how much it costs, and I think I can find better things to do for that much money.

As for what Rich said about it being ricey, I've never seen it in person, so I don't have an opinion on that. Guess I'll have to see for myself at some point.
