| Capabilities of an M3.... I'm trying to decide between buying a M3 or a Supra...Can anybody tell me what numbers I can get out of the M3 after some modification, and whether or not I can expect the car to hold up well...Also can the M3 get a good amount of output from doing things that are strictly NA such as cams, and differential...Thanks |

| As SG_M3 said, there are other reasons to get an M3... If power is the only thing you need, go for the Supra.

| I don't mean for it to seem that its only about the power. I know the M3 is one of the most well rounded cars which is why I'm interested in it. I'm into modifying and I'd like to know what kind of numbers I can flirt with and how well the car holds up to being modified a little. |

| As the rest of these guys are saying, it is all about what you want from the final result. (Of course considering that you will still want to tinker around.) Regardless, if you want to maintain a near-perfectly balanced car that combines speed and handling into an incredible experience, go with the M3. But if you are looking at max potential for straight line acceleration with some love in the turns, the supra is the better bet. As for holding up, I think the BMW is a better built car with considerations in all categories. - Veno
