Well my M3 is off to the grave yard

Finally insurance totaled my car and they just cam a towed it away. Now I am waiting for insurance to tell me about the $$. For the last few weeks I could not wait for them to tow it away from my house but today when she was all hooked up and I gave her my kiss good bye it was the worst felling in the world Sorry for my post of emotion. I am now just preying that insurance can come threw with some $$ so I can get started on my next project car. I hope that works out because thinking about a new project is the only thing that cheers me up now-a-days. See ya guys around, Sean

That sucks...Were you able to keep any of the performance parts, or did they take everything from the car? It would really suck to lose out on all that $ too.

know how ya feel - it's been many years since I had to do the same thing to a car of mine that threw an engine bearing.

I took off the mirrors, moldings, custom in.pro's, clears, ebrake+shift handle(AA), floormats, AA short shift, Alarm, door sills, lots of wire, the remains of my system, and other random parts. I hope insurance does not get mad over all that If the salvage price is low I might buy back the car but I doubt it.

the buyouts are usually absurd (what the salvage co. will pay insurance for the car) buy it if you can get the salvage value it will be on paper....I've done it.
