The story first. At a stop in my car, in order to put it into first, you have to ram it or not ram it but push it hard for a little while to what translates into a feeling of pushing over a large bump. This is aleviated by putting it into 2nd and then 1st. And when Im in, say 3rd gear, where I notice it the most, a lot of side-to-side play in the shifter, maybe 1 inch or so. So the questions are...
since its a 95 M3, i hear a lot about shortshifters and how they arnt recommended because of excessive tranny shift and how mishifts or something like this happen a lot. How should I alleviate this? Or should I not get a SS? What brand should I get? The UUC one sounds really promising but i know there are some others out there, maybe someone wanna comment on those? What is installation time or should I have someone else install it for me? Any other information as well is appreciated
