Wouldn't you want to compare the bone stock M3 with a bone stock Corvette? IMHO, if he loves driving he would want the M3....I read an article comparing the M3 with the corvette with the boxster...try to get the Motor Trend issue August 2001 if at all possible. They had report cards done after the tests........the M3 got straight A's in 10 categories, the Corvette got 5 A's, 4B's, and a C. The Boxster S got 5 A's and 5 B's.
