OBD1 is easier to tune and more accepting of mods. hence the reason for OBD 1 conversions on the latter cars.

no no no man.. the button dont do much..theres still some saftey shit in it. its sumwhere in the wireing near ur fuse box or sum shit.. i gatta ask the guy that did it.. kuz the 2001 is liek all about control and thats not fun when u wanna do doughnuts and shit. the button on the dash dont help me much

When you turn off the DSC or ASC, the car should be able to do doughnuts. I dont think it's necessary to start disabling wires and shit in your car

TCS is a bitch. my dad had a lincoln that would shake if you burned out (you'd burn out and it would make a shuttering noise, it was the weirdest thing ever)

OBD 1 is more accepting of modifications

I'd still take the OBD II 3.2 though.....

(No replacement for displacement)

the 95's didn't even have any of that fancy TCS or ASC, all we got is limited slip

i like the 96-99 for the traction control, although I drive with it off when it's dry I've been able to send my car sideways with it on when it's wet out and in Washington state it's wet out alot I think it's a safety thing. I also like the bigger engine and interior upgrades.

95's also had a little different suspension setup, which dialed in a more neutral steering balance. Also had the same size wheels/tires around to help contribute to its balance. 96+ had more understeer dialed in.
