They were a speciality color in 98 as well i believe. CMT's dad has a 98 328ic in avus blue. I think on the new m3s for 2k you can get speciality colors like avus blue. Don't quote me on that though

You can get the e46's specially ordered in avus blue, it'll cost you some $$$ though (i don't know anything about the 98's)

actually, i think avus in 98 3 series was a regular color, just like black, silver, white, etc... but they only brought it back in 98, also there is 2000 m5--- avus blue

and u can get 'em special ordered when u order ur new car from bmw for i hear like 2k more

i think regular 3's were the only ones w/ avus in 98...neighbor has a 328i in avus.
