| Yup...I've heard stories. E30 M3's and the old 6 series cars have quite a following. I was actually offered $12k for my car this spring. Tempting but...hell no!

| You're not alone guys. I can't TELL you how many people have wanted to buy the car. The funniest one was some guy who thought I was an idiot anfd didn't know what I had. It started out the same as usual..."Nice car. Are you interested in selling it?" My typical response, "Not really." He said "Are you sure, I'll give you $5K...and that's pushing it pretty high since this IS just an old 4 cylinder BMW." I looked at him, with SUCH a sarcastic face, saying only "Excuse me?" He countered with "Fine, I'll make it $5500. I don't think you'll get a better deal ANY where else." I just laughed and walked away. I guess that the guy figured that since I was in a section of town with lots of used car lots that I HAD to be looking to unload some car I had gotten from my parents or something and that I had no CLUE what that hell I was driving. But that is one good feeling....driving into almost any car dealership (new or used) and having the salesmen SWAMP you thinking that you're looking to sell or trade the car. I used to have to bat them away with a stick at AutoNation and places like that.

| A friend of mine just went over to Germany and imported a red E30 M3. Not sure what year it is, but its in absolutely mint condition, lived in a CARPETED garage equiped with an inspection, pit, etc. Only 30k on the clock, FBMWSH and the thing looks showroom fresh. How much for this fine example? £8500 (About $13k). Add on the registration fees et al to get it into the UK, and total outlay on a mint E30 was just $14k!

| I want ANOTHER one! I've got this one, but it's so cherry, I don't want to mod it THAT much. I know I will end up doing it anyways. Hell, I'm already signewd up to do something I sid I wan't going to do with the car...track it. If I spin off the course backwards and smack into something you ALL have permission to come over and smack me around. I know they were designed for the track, but I still think they were born for the public roads....at least the chassis that weren't sold out right as race cars. BTW, my sister mentioned to me today that she was surprised I still had the car. I've had the M3 for a little over 3 years now....a record for me and cars. I usually gget bored with one after a year or so and get something else. But then again I currently have three cars, and am in the process of selling at least one of them, if not the other too. Whenever I tell anyone at work that I'm selling a car, everyone's eye's light up and they're all "The Bimmer? How much do you want for it?!?!?!" And then I burst their bubble. We're bad, aren't we? Tormenting these people the way we do.
