Well, I just got my car back from The Driving Machine in Cupertino. I was hoping to get 10% discount from gms.cc, but you never responded my email. Why The Driving Machine? I looked them up in the www.bbb.com and noticed no complaints from them. They were very nice and professional. They offered a courtesy ride back to my work place. I think they were kind of pricey, but I was too desperate to get the a/c fixed due the summer heat that i'm feeling right now in CA. Here is the cost: $1500 for Inspection 2, check brake noise, check and fixed a/c problem just by adding freon, flush out power steering system since it was dirty, replace fan belt, smog certification since it was time for the annual registration fee. So...that was it. Can of pricey or what? I was hoping he would be able to open my brake and add the anti-squeek compound for free...but nope. Now, I need to buy a service manual and learn how to change the coolant sensor myself and the brake pad. Oh well...I guess i'll be looking for a different shop next time for a reasonable price service. If the shop had offered me extra service or care, then I would have made them my "forever" shop. Yet, i'm still continue to look for one.

Sorry for not replying, was away for the week. I'm no expert but ya seems kinda pricey. What's nice about GMS is that they have a no hassle quote that they can provide you via email or phone. They are very upfront about what they charge.

Just to check on them, I would send them an email with what you needed done. See how much they would have charged you. They don't require you get the job done there to get a quote. They don't even ask you anything. Just the kind of good service they provide.

If you are still interested, I'll dig that up so you can use it next time...but I won't be able to look for it until this weekend.

Just reply to this thread..Sorry again
