| 95' M3 or 98' M3 which one and why ??? If you guys had to choose between a 95' M3 and a 98' M3 which one would you choose and why ? I'm looking for an M3. I really want a 95' because of OBD1, but I like all of the options that a 98' has to offer, like power and heated seats and a few other things. If the price was about the same for both which one would you choose and why ?? Mileage doesn't matter. thanks

| I would say 98 just bc they are cleaner and you would have less problems (more likely) That and the 3 spoke steering wheel. But if your into moderate-heavy engine tuning go w/ the 95. Your call man

| I hear the 95 M3's take awesomely to upgrades due to the freedom of ODB1

| It's a tough choice, I like the interior of 98 m3 better, the grill is nicer, and it's a 3.2 liter engine. The 95 m3 however is OBD I, and they made an avus blue in 95 which is a sick color. If you aren't a big fan of avus blue, and you have some money to spend, you can always change the 98 M3 to an OBD I. |

| 95% of the people that get a '95 m3 for the OBD1 don't even benefit much from it. if you want real performance for a good price, you have to go forced induction, and sc and turbo kits are out there for both OBD1 and OBD2...so unless you're some hardcore performance enthusiast, i say go for the 98. it's GOT to be cleaner... oh yeah, and you can always do an OBD1 conversion on the 98, and you'll have a 3.2L OBD1...which is very nice. | True, but you dont need Fi to get decent performance. You can get 320NA HP for a good price, and its very reliable. 3.2 does benefit trq wise if you go Fi though, and its a newer car. So you just have to decide what your going to use the car for? if its going to be a slightly modified daily driver, get 98...If you wanna race, I would say 95 |

| Yea pete, thats b/c your too lazy to do the conversion. Haha, just messin. yea I agree, if your doing FI, you benefit much from the OBDI conversion, but might benefit from the extra 200cc |

| I faced the same question....i chose the 98 I'm VERY happy with my decision. More so than if i had gotten a 95 the car is in showroom condition and fast as hell, what more could you ask for?
