das borgen is a Permit Holder
VIN Decoder

For anyone who wants to do a VIN BUILD SHEET look up -
Works from bmw.com too: http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/acc...catalogue.html
Click on electronic parts catalog on the lower right.

U: eu111111
P: bmwetk1

Enter the last 7 digits of the VIN and then click Options in the title row at the top of the page. When you hit print you get your paint color etc. as well, although not on the initial page, not until the "Print" version opens.

BMW had already opened this up to motorcycle owners some time ago.

Excellent find!

Couple of things to keep in mind when using Web EPC.

1. Note the catalogue version/region on the right. When I logged on it only showed ECE (Europe). To change that go to settings and choose all regions.

2. Spring table is only found under "Specific Parts Search" and not Graphic Parts Search.

3. When you get to a specific part you will see a red letter "i" on the left-most column. That will give you the weight of that specific part. If it is a kit then you will also see an "EBA" number which are the installation instructions. It doe NOT appear that this will allow you to view the instructions but you can always get them from a dealer etc....

4. Unfortunately, there are other features that have been removed but this is still an excellent source.

Still an awesone find!
