So I don't really have any place where I keep this apart from an old civic forum that I belong to so I figured this would be a place to keep track of what I'm doing to the car and what has already been done.

This is just a fun car to me. I will never race it ( real race cars don't have roofs ) But some of the more important stuff has rule books in mind.

At this point im building up the BBK ( refinishing/rebuilding calipers) then I'm having the rear shock towers tied into the rear subframe to completely bullet proof the rear shock towers with the coilovers. Gotta get the euro MAF installed and TRM dyno tune the car. (made 232 wtq with 3" intake/maf)

After that I'm going to work on aero and an oil cooler.

Currently an international student paying out of pocket for tuition so things will be on hold until I graduate next year.

I'll post pics of the projects as I get around to them. Unlike Joe Poland, I am very slow with working on the car as I have ZERO spare time.

I too saw this car on April 2nd at 4ngiefest2011...loved it and it was cool hanging with you and your friend....how's his progess on that carbon fiber project, Rob?

He's getting there.. currently working on a 1/4 scale tube chassis version but he has to create the mandrel bender for the 1/4 size ( IDK what he's using) tube and other jigs and stuff. It'll take a while but he wants to make it in 1/4 first to make sure he likes how it turns out without wasting a ton of money.

He's been out of town doing install work for the company he works for quite a bit so not much progress.

Because my motion ratio is 1.05 for the rear instead of 0.65 like the factory location...

oh yea...i forgot you have a true coilover in the back...any concerns with the rear shock tower receiving the load? reinforced in any additional way?
did you measure the motion ratio yourself or got the number from Moton?

B.Watts, Jaffster & other big names on BFc stated that, and was backed up by other racers too.

I'm having the top of the shock towers built up, and a plate curved to the side.. then a tube going across and also going down into the rear subframe too. Hopefully that will make it bullet proof.

Joe, I'm considering painting them a metallic gloss black.. kind of like the diamond black on volks. Not sure though. I've bent two of them on separate occasions from kerbs at the track so they are relegated to "driving to the track" wheels, sadly.
