Do people realy thinks just becouse we drive bimmers that were stuck up or "preps"

So I'm at the doctor and the one nurse says to me what are you wearing that does not go together I had on work clothing , the shirt was a black t with a BMW logo on the front and dickies shorts and tan skateboarding shoes she thought that the shirt was preppy and the shoes we're grung figure that one out. This isn't the first time some one said something I had someone tell me and my friend that we were yuppies for driving bimmers so do people really thinks that were just a bunch of stuckup preppy yuppies. Not to say that preps are stuck up . Anyone else experiance this

i mean i guess the stereotype is legit due to the fact that you usually do see brand new BMW's being drove by rich business suit wearing men. what these people fail to realize is we are not driving brand new cars that cost more then 40 grand. we are driving these cars second hand at best.

I have had people in cars that cost twice as much as mine calling me a rich c*nt, on the other hand some holden fans give me shit for driving a Nazi car which really annoys me. I don't care, I love my car, it looks good, drives good, and best of all, theres only 4 other e36's that I know of and mine is one of the better ones. I love the fact that I have a car that practically no one has, everyone says oh get a holden blah blah, what and be just like every other 17 y.o. in the country, fuck that. BMW all the way!
