headliner is comming off

so im here in cali and the weather has gotten hot and i started noticing that my headliner is coming off on driver side sunroof, what can i do to stop this? it seems like it's spreading and the continued heat here isnt helping. do i have to replace the the whole headliner? i got some 3m adhesive spray but not sure if i should tackle this myself, any advice is greatly appreciated.

I think re doing the headliner is DIYable enough. I would just re do it. You can slow the process or make a temporary fix, but trust the only real solution is to re do it. Good Luck let me know if you need some DIYs I might have some stored from ages ago.

diy headliner replacement.. just pull it out and recover it.

if you don't want to do it yourself, you can pull it out and take it to an upholsterer.

some members have recovered it in Alcantra suede and it looks great.

im gonna be wraping mine in black suede. i can do a diy right up on it when i get done with the door panels

I just redid mine this weekend in suede. It's not that hard, just time consuming if you want it absolutely perfect.
