| yea i have bin looking on craigslist but i cant find anything i bin tryign to find a e36 all summer i dont even care if it needs work as long as it runs and the 5 speed i can work with it. |

| my buget is around like 7 gs there arent many around were i live i was just looking at one for 9 but the owner beat the piss out of it so i dident get it. i dont mind if it needs a lil work cuz i do kinda want to make it a project car do u know any m3 aroudn for sale? thanks alot for the help btw! |

| for $7k i've not seen one that's worth owning. if i go on craigslist or autotrader right now i can find several.. but all out of that price range. like i said, i live in the same area and if you expect one that's not beat for $7k, my advice is not to bother until you have at least $10k. again, parts are not cheap and these cars are not the simplest thing on the road. even if you want a project, you'll spend more than $3k to make the $7k car decent.

| I bought mine about 6 months ago and it was in NJ, I found it on Ebay. The car had 74,000 miles on it and was a 98 with service records I paid 11,000 for it. I probably could have found one cheaper but the service records went a long way for me and the PPI came back good. Paying a little extra now will save you money and headaches. |

| Yea you guys are deff right i owned one and i deff know there hard to take care of but i dont mind that im willing to spend 10gs for the car but i cant find any on the forum. i am also new to this forum so i really dont know how to work it. |
