just putting it out there for guys on a buget..if you vist a commity college in your area with auto shop classes, you could talk to the teacher of the class and sign some papers. they are will to work on your car for free and paint it too. you just have to buy the parts and paint. i'v seen a 1972 road runner come out of my cc shop with a full engine hual and $1,500 worth of paint on it. it was a bucket when it first came in and now it is a show stopper!

I don't trust other people working on my cars, especially when they're students... But if you are desperate I suppose this may be a good option.

i agree with you 100% im alway that guy who hates it when someone leans on my ride or eats inside, so you could tell that i would never let nobody work on my car. i think if there is something major and i had to take it to a shop to machine my block or port and polish my heads then i would have to stand right there and watch it be done..
anyway if your like me just register for the class and learn how to do body work yourself. its so rewarding!! you could go to rop classes too. those classes are cheaper

i do all the work on my cars myself these days, on post they have self serve auto shops with EVERYTHING that you would ever need.\
if anyone sees any s52 e36's for sale in GA for under 7500 let me know, GE is up and im making money! lol
